While you may want to wait until Nintendo announces its Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle if you don't have the console already, if you do, Best Buy's deal is about the best at the moment. Amazon has an offer for a headset discount and Target is giving away a $5 gift card with it, but this one is a coupon for money off your next gas purchase. You can use it at any gas station that accepts Mastercard, so that's pretty much all of them.
Mario Kart 8 will be launching exclusively on the Wii U on May 30 with Nintendo no doubt hoping that it will shift a few systems. Alongside Super Smash Bros which is coming this fall, Mario Kart 8 is one of the biggest launches of the year for the Japanese game maker and could potentially help turn the life of the Wii U around if it sells enough consoles off the back off its exclusivity.
