Siege of Avalon is a "traditional" medieval fantasy RPG with real-time combat. The player is a young human male who just arrived on the scene at the culmination of a 12-year-long war. His skills and specialized capabilities will evolve throughout the game as the player decides, instead of being fixed by a "class" or "race" selection at the start of the game. Siege is a single-player game, with various Party members (as you advance to later game Chapters) who can be added and dropped from the Party throughout the game. The Player can "assume full control" of any Party member at will.

The First Chapter of the game is free while Chapters 2-6 have also been released.

This is the best game ever!!!! It tops Diablo 2 by lightyears. The simplicity makes it wonderfull! The graphics rulz and the story rulz too... But the only bad thing is that the enemies "Ahouls" are a bit too hard. (If you don't cheat of course...)

this game is great except for the slow ass walking speed i would personally love to see a quicker interface and less cursor jumping aorund the screen...also maybe smaller landscapes their nice but they prove to be a long wait for a small goal..:) other wise this game was addicting for me i played 6 hours straight when i started..:)for freeware the first chapter is nice but i dont think it has another game to compare with....maybe fallout npc style along with diablo attempt at fighting and ultima complicated quests... overall 3.5/5

It seems that all download links for this game have been brought down. MegaGames: PLEASE CONTACT THIS GAME'S AUTHORS TO CONFIRM IF IT CAN STILL BE DOWNLOADED! If not, kindly remove the download links... it's too frustrating not to be able to play this (seemingly) great game.

This game rocks! I was a little leary at first and it can be tough! The secret is to SAVE OFTEN! I Have the Anthlogy and it's amazing! Very detailed and hours and hours of play await.Unfortunately I think the company has closed and so have the links.

Also, use magic. Take the Apprentice with you, his magic is the only way to survive until you get your experience points up and can afford emough armor.Remember, Pillage everything, then sell it to buy better armor.
