Mega Mario is a Super Mario Bros. 1 clone. It has everything the original game did but with better graphics, higher resolution and smoother movement and new levels. The story of mario and Luigi continues, in old-school style.

The game is intended for adults only as it is a bit more gruesome than Nintendo ever dared make the original.

the game is lacking in a few things, one of which is music and certain sounds, and the controls feel a little different than on the nes/snes. Other than that, its pretty decent...

Why are people re-doing old Mario Bros games? haha This seems kinda pointless. Besides...we all know super mario 2 was the best. Luigi had "mad hops" as the kids say. Plus it was by far the most challenging.

you call those "better graphics"? Ill take the low res original snes graphics over this crap. I do dig the partical stuff, but dont screw with the nice clean graphics of the "all stars" version.

Just wondered what version of SMB2 Nicholas played....Cos the version I had on my NES was a boring dribble of rat sh*t that should never have been released from Nintendo HQ. It wasn't even an original SMB game. They just changed the sprites and threw in a few warp zones.As for it being the most challenging Mario game, I'm gonna assume you haven't played the Lost Levels or Mario Land on the original Gameboy........there's a challenge if ever you wanted one.

Anonymous at 4:4 12/9/2005:Dood, since when did Halo had good gfx? Maybe on xbox but even when it came out on pc it didn't have the best looks. It was an average game, nothig more.As with Mario, this one is not bad but nothing beats the original. SMB3 in my opinion was the best one. Btw, those people who call this gay and people who posted here fags are fags themselves and should go away.

I think this is probably the most horrible game I've ever played. Collision sucks. Controls suck. Level design sucks (even on the 'first board original Super Mario Bros'). So the designer did a decent job of pixel-copying the sprites from out of Super Mario World. If the program itself was anywhere near as good as the sprite work, it might have been intriguing for more than 5 minutes.If you wanna make games, LEARN TO CODE FIRST.

Meh, i stay with my original mario, kill the rest, by the way, says who Halo in Xbox was better than PC, graphically? Tell me!?!?! It seems that you havent played it in PC, in PC you can even see your face reflection in Masterchief Bodysuit Armor.By the way, whats with people triying to c*m in everything?

I don't know if this game contains Spyware or not, but I know it's definitely not worth the risk! If the game had the original levels and had a bit more effort on the aesthetics (and let you use a pad), it could be getting there. As it is, it's not worth the time downloading... :(
