Five Days a Stranger is an extremely well made horror adventure game which will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game is such an engaging experience that it qualifies for the title of psychological horror rather than providing pure slasher-type thrills.

Five Days is a medium-length free adventure game with a haunted mansion theme, made with the AGS Engine.

Star of the game is Trilby, mysterious, cunning and immaculately dressed, he is an enigma to his contemporaries and a nightmare to his pursuers. An expert at stealth, gymnastics and lockpicking, he can get in and out of any stronghold before anyone even realises he's in the area. Having evaded the police for many years and restricted himself to robbing only the rich, Trilby has made himself out as something of a hero to the downtrodden. He doesn't make mistakes often, but breaking into DeFoe Manor may be his worst, and potentially, his last...

I got the cord, twig, newspaer, article and history book and have talked to everyone as much as possible too, and i'm stuck! i don't get it. you'd think you could use some of the items for something. any ideas?

This game is suprisingly good if you try it out. (With a good imagination, this can be a very fun game) I just got to the second day, and i'll post anything I find out if anyone needs it. Oh and Anonymous at 2:3, you played the original two monkey islands? Those games bring back memories... :)

no excuses for anyone who doesn't d/load this game who likes the look of it cause it's only just over a mb, even small enough for dial up user's. Anonymous i wouldn't say it's better than hl2 lol that's a bit far, but it certianly will pass an hour or 2 if you get right in2 it

Feels like the old school games like monkey island 1 or maniac mansion, just cool and makes u think hard about what to do and how to interact with stuff, good one yet maybe a lil short, one afternoon of fun, i would say. Liked to play it and feeling like playing old skool game, nice one :)

i sat up ALL night to beat 7 day's a skeptic & i beat it. I'm not proud of myself since i used the walkthrough at some parts (which myself am not impressed with) i never use guids for real games..anyway,i hope they make another game called 10 days a tangarine or sutin. You gotta find out who ate the tangarine in 10 days & er.....well...yea whatever um....anyway, i beat 7 day's a sk.....er...i told you already...em...cheerio

You canonly find the others once you have found him.Q. How do I open the locked doors?You don't, at least not now. You will have the opportunity later on.Q. Where's Simone?She's upstairs.Q. Where's Jim?You can only find him once you've found Simone. Push the tree in the back garden, thentalk to it.Q. Where's AJ?AJ is nowhere to be found. Once you have located the others, just go to the lounge.Q. What am I supposed to do in the lounge?Just talk. Talk about everything you can. Eventually, the scene will end by itself.DAY TWOQ. Now what am I supposed to be doing?Your task is to locate AJ, who is still missing after your encounter with him yesterday.Restrict your attentions to the back yard.Q. Cool I like this game very much. Does anyone have a CD key to unlock the full version because I would really like to play more and this is kinda pissing me off if I cant play it more so I come here and read all this bullshit crap u guys are saying its hard and shit but its not but if there is a truth then take it up u morons and I will tell u this so dont be complainging because I got what it takes to go out and do it again and for the others to not say nothing is just shit if u ask me.

I have the cord, family history, stick, article, and newspaper, but no map like the FAQ says. I checked the library everywhere, but i cant find anything he wants to take. where do i find the dang map to show the digging guy???
