In the Diablo II Expansion Set, you will return to follow the path of Baal, the last of the Prime Evils, into the Barbarian Highlands of the north. Traveling with hordes of demonic minions, Baal intends to corrupt the powerful Worldstone that protects the whole of the mortal plane from the forces of Hell.
You will face a new series of quests and challenges to prevent the vile minions of the underworld from destroying the world of Sanctuary.

Expansion Set Features

Two new character classes (the Assassin and the Druid) each with 30 unique skills/spells
One new Act set in the Barbarian Highlands, Many new monster types, including bosses and uniques. Interactive environments such as siege towers and fortified battlements
Thousands of new weapons, armor and magical items, including class-specific quest items
New recipes for the Horadric Cube, Increased Stash Size.

I wonder what the name of the expansion set will be called.....Anyways, it should be a great add-on to Diablo II.As for those of you who think this expansion will suck, I pity you. You don't know a good RPG when you see one.

I thought this was a damn gaming site, bot some stupid site where people get their kicks by anonymously saying idiotic things. Diablo 2 is a worthwhile game, with quite a bit of replay value considering it has 5 classes. I look forward to the release of this expansion set.

Diablo 2 rockz, they say it doesnt have any better graphics then the first...but i see a big difference when playing the 2...and the movies were coolat least its a game people can play with a crappy graphics card and have it run a little better then other games would :P

This new Edition to Diablo 2 Sounds awsome. Keep up the good work, I loved Diablo 1 and I think Diablo 2 is the best game of the millium. If you guys could get the game out for the playstation 2 that would be ****ing cool.

I think the problem with Diablo 2 was there were no random quests, only the set ones, that brought its replayability straight down, there should be an expansion set that adds about 100+ random quests....

Well i like diablo 2 but once you finish it you realy cant be bothered playing it much enymore and there should be random quests like in the first and the storyline i think was better in diablo 1 becouse it went further like the sin wars and the story in diablo 2 is sonething that my 6 year old kid comes up with at school so if they added something better to the story it may not be as crap and repedative ok!!!!

Diablo II really kick some asses. Imagine I almost spend a whole day playing this awesome game. Their graphics are cool especially on it's cinematics!! I expect to fight more monsters in diablo's expansion set and finally nail down Baal!!!.

OK... i do think d2 is a good game but it lacks the fun towards then end. i mean its kool running round at the start trying to train up ur lvls and get more spells, but once u get to a say lvl 35 u get damn bored of it! its ezy... and its the same killing and casting spell all along! i'd rather go back to bw after these days... probably only cause im a lvl 73 (meaning i've mastered d2)

yo man if u dun like d2 its ur problem. if u find it too easy its ur problem too. no ones going to get effected cause u've mastered the game. u say d2 is boring and thats uncalled for. bw is boring too in that case.. all u do is build and hit. ok... u might say stratagy is the key in bw, not high lvls or gd spells, but even so its the same thing over and over again

I think Blizzard is ripping it's customers off. d2 is the only game that the ending really needed an expantion or sequel. i think act5 was already planned out they just left it off to make some more mad cash when people buy it cuz they thought d2 was a good game

I THINK THAT WITH THE RELEASE OF DIABLO 2 EXPANSION SET BLIZZARD WILL HAVE THE MAJORITY IN THIER CORNER. DIABLO 2 WAS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND IS A FEAT IN ITS OWN. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS. ALSO I AM 26 YEARS OLD AND STILL A GAMMER!! THANK YOU BLIZZARD.
