Microsoft is still refusing to acknowledge that the Xbox 360 successor development is nearly finished, but that didn’t stop one developer from selling its hardware SDK openly on eBay.
The Software Development Kit, codenamed “Durango,” was sold for $20,100 after 43 bids.
According to our developer sources, the image posted alongside the listing looks like the real SDK. However, there is no guarantee that this is not a clever scam. Sadly, it is unlikely that we’ll get to know the truth since the buyer has decided to remain anonymous.

What would they ever want
What would they ever want with it. They already have their own consoles and its too late to make changes to their next gen projects. Microsoft is the most likely buyer.
HTML 5 or Java choices choices
$20,100 wtf? They must be wearing diapers in Redmond these days!
It was probably microsoft who
It was probably microsoft who bought the SDK back to keep anyone else from getting it. Kind o flike an anonymous kidnapping/ransom. Also fix your posts title, you dont have to choose between html5 and java, they serve completely different purposes and can be used together.
