Soldat is a unique side-view multiplayer action game. It takes the best from games like Liero, Worms, Quake and Counter-Strike and gives you fast action gameplay with tons of blood and flesh. Soldiers fight against each other on 2D battle arenas using a deadly military arsenal. This is why multiplayer was invented.
Most important features:

-Game environment based on real physics rules
-Over 14 weapons available: guns like MP5, Ak-74, M79, M249 Minimi, Barret M82A1, XM214 Minigun.
-Multiplayer network game based on UDP over the Internet or LAN
-Inteligent bots

This game rules. Period.The gfx are good and cool enough. Did you expected a FREE game with DOOM 3 graphics??DD said it has lag. No way. I played BOTH on LAN and on internet and the game runs smooth and lagless.Unique said they must add internet games. Uh... there are hundreds of Soldat servers running on the net dude.Also, the game is constantly being updated. Its worth to check the official page.

I nice enjoyable game for a short time, i sometimes find I get bored but always return to the game at a later point.There are some bad lag issues.People seem to have found ways of giving themselves suped weapons which is no fun.Hope to see better graphics and more options in future versions.Way Worth The Download.

Something about this unique game is so addicting. I wanna play it over and over again, it broke my counter strike addiction! Many levels, losta of weapons, awesome gameplay,and a level editor, what else could you ask for? How about online play yep it's got it! It's better then sof2 multiplayer and other new games. Best of all it's free I seriously suggest that everyone downloads this game.
