i personally didnt like the amount of freedom in the game. it always meant while i was in one place i was missing out on something else somewhere else i didnt want to miss.i only just finished the origninal a week ago. im not sure what to think.. is de2 going to follow from 1 particular ending or what??

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

I want this game NOW, looks bloody good. I think they could of added some more lighting effects into it aswell like if you look at the picture where he is shooting the monster with a rocket launcher you can still see the monsters shadow and the bright explosion has no effect on its shaddow, little things like this would make the game graphicaly impressive. Another thing is that I hope they are not rushing this game just to get it out around HL2, personaly I don't mind waiting for a good game than getting a bad game fast. I hope you can get that circular blue thing away from my screen because it would probly anoy me, I dont realy know what it does but im assuming its used like a HUD (Heads Up Display) but it looks like it is displaying the powers you have (augmented). Some one commented on the level off freedom being too much, well I like it being alot, if you are dissapointed about missing out on somthing just start a new game, or have two going at the same time (not realtime) where you complete somthing than load up another game and complete it a diffrent way, Its alot better than a linear game (eg HL) where there is only one way to go (you cant skip sections) and there is only one ending.DeusEx does not look like Neo.. Hey I remember you, from another topic, your an idiot. And for every one who didnt like the 1st game, make shure you have played the full version or atleast completed the demo, I had hated it untill I realy tried it, than I loved it.

Deus Ex is one of the most underrated games of all time. It was friggin awesome, and lengthy. most games now'll only give ya about 8 hrs MAX. Dx was 20. (15 if you rushed). Dx2 looks amazing. i too want this game NOW. but i fear that like HL2 and D3, it'll get delayed.

For all you of you who are complaining about this going to be AWESOME game Go Complain Somewhere else ok. Although it's your opinion. Imo Deus Ex 1 did not get the rave it should have got. For its brilliant gameplay, excellent graphics and stunning sound.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

The game that didn't not get the rave it should is none other than Thief. Deus Ex has stolen most characteristics from Thief, yet everybody is kissing it's ass instead. Look at half the games in the market you idiots, how many of them are pretending to have Stealth features (the most shameless clones are your beloved Nolf and Splinter Cell series)? They all f**ked up one way or the other and it's one game that it's gonna be mega and thats Thief III, as for

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

That's right. Thief's the original. Therefore everyone should be saying "hey, let's not forget Deus Ex", not the opposite. The fact that Deus Ex took over 35 awards and all that (most of them are Thief's awards in reality), that in itself answers those idiots who feel that their poor Deus Ex has been overlooked. Thief has been the most influential game since the past five years. Yet it doesn't get the credit it deserves probably because it doesn't have a company "marketing" it strongly in various magazines and some ass-kissers rave about other silly games in their sold magazines and overlook the real games. f**k Doom 3, f**k Half Life 2. These games are all about graphics. They can't even hold a f**king candle to Thief's immersion and realism. Thief couldn't hold a candle in terms of graphics in the past, but in terms of immersion, sound, and gameplay it can hold a f**king candelabrum...

oh f**k u guys, u don't know anything about HL2. ofcourse dx2 will be very nice. the games go in seperat directions, and cannot be compeard... they are ofcourse the nxt gen. games. and they will rule the market. so buzz of by saying dx is better than hl. it pisses people of.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

They say it because it knows it pisses people off. DX one had the shittest voice acting, and the out of body cut scenes didn't add shit to the game. You can't compare HL2 with Deus Ex 2 'cause they're different types of games, plus they're not out yet. I'm just saying that DX one was shit in my opinion, and I hope they make the second one more faced paced.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

Well, shit or not, everyone was kissing it's d**k. There was one dude who once wrote an article at PC Gamer that DX revolutionized nothing (finally a guy with a clear point of view). I wonder is he still alive? BTW he was right. Maybe it improved sth, but revolutionized f**king shit.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

actually, it did things never seen before on an action game. it was revolutioning game, since it was the first action game to give the player so much choices about the plot and about the characters. the voices were actually good. the conversations were intresting, and for example, the player who did Walton simons' voice did a great job. the out bodies scenes were just a way of showing the dialogs. maybe added nothing, but it wasn't bad too. and besides, the game wasn't good or bad because of the out bodies scenes or the voices. the game WAS revolutioning for the feathures it offered, and not for the unimportant things like how did you see the dialogs

jj Whatevah. if u don't call the logic needs in hl a part of this new game gen. then somethin is the hell matter with u. like for intance jedi knight 2 was difficult discribed by some, imagen hl2 after all the news reports.... it is ten times better. but whatevah people are different and some r just stupid :Þ

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

does anyone honestly believe that an old ass game like half life [multiplayer] even compares to DX. The game takes MAD skill to own anyone in multiplayer, otherwise you get your ass handed to you by actual Hardcore gamers[hl gamers, get rid of your voodoo 5 and join the rest of us in THIS century]. If you've actually played the original, you already know HL DOES NOT even come close to being as versatile of a game as DX. Those who disagree, try beating it with nothing more than lock picks and multitools, then give me a hollar, chump.

PS: you all spell like hopeless dipshits. You should've spent more time in school learning to read than jerking off the bathroom at lunch break. don't bother replying, I've read enough 3RD grade dribble from the mouths of retards. [I R like HL cuz its soo kewl and faced paste. ¥Æ§ ¥¤Ù @r3 @ ƒ@g @nd ½

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

First of all XBOX suck.Second half-life is just a great 1st person shooter with a good story and the second will probably be as great as the first one BUT deus ex is the kind of game that you can't compare with. It is an RPG game where you do whatever you wan't and you can upgrade your skill. Not only a shoot'em up kind of thing.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

hl2 blows balls. it will sell well. it will get awsome reviews just because the 1st one got many great reviews and awards. But did people actually like HL, not really, most people thought it was slow, the story is too lame and not many aliens and the xen levels totally crapped the game out. Why HL sold so well, 1 word, MODS!.If company's cared about you, they would be out of business and yes, that sounds like a bad logic but look around you, how many companys out there do care about there customers, None. Meaning they have customer service does not mean they care about you!.

Deux Ex: Invisible War Intro Movie

ok, here's the deal... DX can't at all match CS as an fps or multiplayer, but DX isn't really FPS... it's rpg from an FPS perspective, It's all about the story, and flexability... that and replay, how many times can you replay HL??? 3 max before it startes to get boring... with deus ex, you can choose different mods, style's response combinations... kill random people, I mean come on That's what I want from a single-player game... you multies can keep your lag I want DX2
