Dungeons & Dragons the Movie

This movie looks so lame. The CG blows and looks so cheesy. And all the characters suck. I just think the game should not have even been made a movie in the first place.

Isn't there already and 80's Dungeons & Dragons "horror" movie where some nerdy guy that played that game and masturbated too much become crazy and began to hallucinate and think that he really lived in the Dungeons & Dragons world, and then began killing people because he though that they were the trolls, monsters and crap?If I could only remeber the name...But honest, that Dungeons & Dragons movie exists, I saw it on TV a while ago.

the buildup in the movie realy sucked it just wasn't at all what i expected, the end kicked major ass i agree with everybody that it needed more action less acting acting is what ruins movies like that they needed more gladiator patriot type crap or like a dragonwar throughout the whole thing overall the movie was OK

By the odd advertisement of this film it looks pretty cool... me and my friend are lookin forward to it because where baldur's gate freaks..ehh so wats all this crap about racisim.. you guys should get a lifeif u walk down a road and shout at every person just because they have a diferent coloured skin... u guys should reconize that u have no role to play when judging some one else... apart from that me and my friends are lookin forward to the movie..thxbye

This film was really bad !No bestiary ! No respect of D&D rules (lol rogue who defeat a warrior in plate). The story was fade. No surprise. It's a bad melting pot between Indiana Jones, StarWars(lol dwarf who drink with green skins...)SO VERY BAD FILM !!!!

Great , this is just fantastic.I am a big fan of D&D games ,got just about all the board games i could get my hands on and played just about every computer game out on the subject....got some ideas of my own too.. for a interactive computer game .Well enough jabbering about D&D ,I say it is about time that the bring out these type of movies and cater for those that enjoy it,how ever few they may be,i am from South Africa so we don't get the variaty that the other countries get so this should be great.Great site ..and keep us postedMage Lonewolf

No, I'm afraid I have to be cynical about this one. Seeing what Hollywood has done to other gendres, I'm certain they're going to completely raze this one. I've seen the pics and the trailers... ooh, ahh. Nice F/X. It's just a shame what they did to the rest of it (Jeremy Irons notwithstanding... I hope to god this isn't his last movie)

I think that the charaecters (i got this from the trailers) are somewhat what they should be, the rouge sound like a rouge, the warrior looks like a warrior, the black-dude looks&sounds like a black-dude (I ment NO RACISIM in that statement I just couldn't think of what he was), the dragons look like Dragons, ect. I'll see it and I think they put the black-dude in for comic relief like in star wars w/ jar-jar ( i always love them, they so much cooler!)well anyhoo thats what I think, now back to kicking KANE's ass.

Yeah, the n****r in the movie is going to ruin it. Blacks seem funny just because they are so incredibly stupid but they have no place on th big screen. The game is great but the movie looks like nothing more than a money maker.

Dungeons and Dragons is one of the best rpg games ever. I do agree with some of you tho that black guy in the movie is going to mess up some things its that hes black but its that i think he is incrediably annoying, just like he was in scary movie. I think they could of did a better job with the animation too i mean whats up with that??
