Can you name me any female action stars that are successfull? Could you imagine a female James Bond or even better yet replace Arnold Schwarzenegger in any of his films with a woman. The whole concept is laughable.

As i said before, the new T-X looks like Reese Witherspon, if they were gonna cast a woman why not some one who actually looks the part, she looks like shes just rushed out of the make-up chair, or a fckin salon. In Aliens, sigourney weaver plays a strong character you can believe in. But in this polictically correct film, they might have well chosen a indian lesbian cripple to play the new T-X.It looks like a piss-take but its for real.

Terminator movies = classicsAh-nuld = cool no matter what (except in juniour *shudder*)T-X = ass-kicking no matter what people say...it's an interesting twist and I'm glad the T-X isn't Chyna(which is what they were planning for in the first place)I don't see the whole Reese Witherspoon connection there, Ben. I cannot begin to fathom your perspective. I don't think the decision to make the T-X female was fueled by a PC mindset, but I don't have a problem with it. I'm just gonna watch the movie because A)it's Terminator...and B) it's Ah-nuld. BTW, I think it'd be kinda funny to have an autistic terminator. Imagine Edward Norton from The Score, or Sean Penn from I Am Sam, and he's walking around getting his retard on when all of a sudden he goes berserk and starts snapping necks and busting caps! The bystanders would be all like "WTF???" and no one would be the wiser...no one suspects the butterfly...

The T-X is not played by Reese Witherspoon. It is played by an actress named Kristiana Loken (i am not sure about the spelling). she is from Pensacola: Wings of Gold, and the Mortal Kombat Tv Series'

Sorry, but this movie will rock. Arnie should have been a T-1000, not a T-800. The T-X should not be male or female, it should be a new creature, a robot one. The special effects look great. Oh, and the starting sequence is THE COOLEST CLIP EVER!!!!!! And who the hell is the actor for John Connor?!? He looks like a dumbass!!! And who is the other chick? I have high hopes for this film, but have my criticisms too.

I hope movie will rock we come back to 1990's when terminator had its time;)

Problem 1: T-X is a chick, what she gonna do, nag John Conner to death. It should be a man and not some weak-ass woman.Problem 2: They casted the wrong person to play John Conner.Problem 3: Too many lame ass special effects will ruin this movie.

This should be cool... Or at least it is when you see the trailer in a cinema... it's a chick because it's cooool to have female assassins... "She's so seductive, and yet so destructive"... HOLLYWOOD!! And you're right... John Connor IS stupid looking... But it's hard making a fair sequel for the coolest action movie ever... T2 of course!! But I still think it looks cool!! Say what you will, but I'll go and see it!

Okay...lets get some things straight. You cannot say this movie looks dumb and cheesy based on the trailer. The trailer itself is what's cheesy, with the bad writing and ham-handed voiceover. Also, it's rather anti-climactic when it comes to the editing, but DAMN it still looks helluva cool. As for critisism about Nick Stahl, the actor who plays John Conner in T3 - since when the hell did Edward Furlong become some paragon of excellence? It'd be nice to have him back as John Conner, but it just couldn't be done (do some research) ...he's a junkie. (BTW, T3 is directed my Jonathon Mostow ... dir. of U-571) Also, it doesn't matter whether a terminator is female or NOT because they're freakin' ROBOTS! Within the context of the story, it's just the appearance of the terminator and it bears no weight when it comes to whether one is toughter or not. Who ever thought Robert Patrick could take on Ah-nuld in T2 (physically)? Didn't matter what they looked like cause they're damn robots! As for special FX ruining the movie...I think it's a possibility, but it's unfair to make a judement based upon the trailer cause it shows ONLY action. The FX will probably change a certain feel of the movie, but it's expected because although the T2 FX still stand up today, you gotta get with the times for special FX. I just hope that the FX don't take over the character development, which is a major reason T2 became the movie which we all care so deeply about. Nonetheless, I will be at the front of the line when this movie comes out, and I'd be more than happy to contribute to it's box-office success, rain or shine. Ah-nuld should be every intelligent, self-respecting, persons action hero of choice for ANY century. We may not expect the movie to surpass T2, and that's fair, but don't condemn it already. If you're a Terminator fan, you'll be there and you'll be grinning with me (and the rest of us) as Ah-nuld kicks ass.

Ok, i'm back to bash the female T-X. Listen, no one can take that female terminator seriously. A terminator should be a guy, end of story.Are you telling me that it would make no difference if they casted Carrot Top to play the terminator? WELL JEE DUH, WHO CARES HOW HE LOOKS, ITS JUST A ROBOT UNDERNEATH ALL THAT SKIN!! Please, Robert Patrick had an evil look, so he made a perfect T-1000.And now we have some wuss ass woman jumping through the air, shooting lasers from her hands. Its too much! The effects for T-1000 were alot more tame. I mean he would occasionally morph his hands into knives, but he never broke out into matrix-style moves.I don't want seductive killing machines, I want hollywood stop being SO GO-DAMNED POLITICALLY CORRECT!! I would be surprised if the T-X actually had a personality.Go watch the trailer again and wait until the part where the T-X turns around and her one eye lights up. Now that's the pinacle of cheese!
