JESUS you guys suck!!How can teh screenshots look cheesy?!!?!?!?And if you think that Deus Ex was great, how can the sequel suck!?!?And Half Life was a great FPS, and at least it was immersive and made you feel like you were acheiving something instead of clocking up another frag against an AI bot for the 50th time in a minute like Q3 and UT.Half Life is one of the only games that made me jump, and for that I have to like it because PC games are never that scary or jumpy - apart from AvP 2 when you are a marine :)DE2 is gonna be cool, just like the original, but this time it will look good instead of being a lame looking build of old technology.Cant wait for it to come out!

Deus Ex was a great and so was half life however with Deus Ex you could replay it different ways where as half life was the same every time. I completed Deus Ex bout 6 times and the only other game that i've done the same with since is Max Payne.Deus EX IW should be great

i think its funny how everybody argues about stuff like this on comments about a trailer. deus ex was an awesome game. half-life is an awesome game. both sequals are gonna rock. but im sorry judging by the research, reviews, and vids i've seen on hl2.....its gonna change the face of gaming WAY more than deus ex 2 will. sorry thats how it is when you come out with...what have they called it again???...oh yeah...the best physics engine ever. come on dl the 30 min trailer. way badass.

hey buck_futter, why do you think that HL2 is "gonna change the face of gaming WAY more than deus ex 2 will"? I have seen the long videos and the physics in both games are pretty comparable except HL2 is far more elaborately scripted ( the halflife trademark ;) ), and instead DX2 lets you do your own thing rather than follow a linear script and set off the triggers etc. The bit with the giant tripod thing is a perfect example of the level of scripting in HL2. It doesnt even shoot at the player! only shoots at the scripted NPCs. So it has NO AI at all! The physics are great but I didnt see much in other areas such as interaction with NPCs (talk, give orders etc) and lighting- both are the very strong points in DX2.But in the end, neither games will be as revolutionary as the originals.

DX2 will be a sleeper hit, guarenteed. HL2 will be given credit because VALVe overpaid critics/magazine companies/fags to promote its game. both games'll b just another game. but HL2 will have better mods because it's engine is better than n e thing DX2 is capable of. the shooting down of the NPCs were an example of how smart the tripods are...they don't just shoot at one person because they "AUTOMATICALLY" know who the main person is...they shoot at random "people"...like the way others would in multiplayer games or in real life in general. sTFU coz PCs suck n e ways.
