This is the official beta 1.2 patch for Battlezone II. It contains a host of new features and bugfixes to make your BZ2 gaming experience the best it has ever been. Fixes and updates include:

- Lots of bugs squashed.
- Win2000 compatibility
- Small framerate speedups
- More reliable network communications
- Game balance tweaks.
- New multiplayer mode: Multiplayer Instant Action (MPI) - A team of humans against the CPU in strategy.
- New multiplayer mode: Race - with plenty of weapons. Improved stability, network performance, and speed.
- 10 New multiplayer maps of various types.
- More tools for map designers, with custom strategic AI.
- More agressive AI in Single Player missions (vs 1.1 patch).
- Server handoff in game support.

I can not get this patch 2 work I try and it says this page can not be found, blah blah blah, can someone write me email, or comment, or sonthin 2 tell me how to get it or send it or different links (not fileplanet) ok please????????? I will be very happy :D u wil know what that means if u have hotmail, seeya!!!!!! oh yea by reading it I would say 9/10 for an awsome patch!

BZ 2 needed more time in development mainly in the joystick area, and it really had allot of bugs that needed to be squished when it was released.Ummmm not everyone uses laser mouse, as the game was made for players who use laser mouse. Which really blows.And the A.I is horrendously stupid.Almost as stupid as bz 1's.There is the g66 patch to help the AI's intellegence but, all i found it did was instead of the computer sending wave after wave of smaller units it send bigger, but still there was no tactics behind the AI's attack other than the RUSH in to my guns.

Otherwise I think it's a pretty good game. Graphix are outdated, but I still enjoy playing it. The only Single-Player glitch I've found is the little seam between the ground textures. The multi-player glitches are bretty bad, seeing as some of them just shut down the game or kick you out of the one you were playing.

HelloI bought battlezone 2 like 8 years ago but i lost the CD.This week i wanted to play it again and i downloaded it from Limewire.Everything perfectly works.But if i try to use the patch it says 'you have not installed Battlezone2'WHY????, :'(Grtz
