No One Lives Forever 2 v1.1 Patch

Very unstable game. Had to uninstall and reinstall... Hopefully this time it will work and not go back to my desktop.

I can't hear ant speech, but the music is fine. When a movie is playing, somtimes i can press esc twice and then it works, for some secounds. Hopefully this will solve the problems.

It doesn't work. I installed the patch and the voice is still the same.

If this patch does not work check the properties of your audio codecs. Open your Sound and Audio Devices in the Control Panel and got to: Hardware -> Audio Codecs -> Properties. Make sure the Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec is set to a priority other than 1 (like 10). If not, then remove it and restart. Then open WMFADist.exe on CD1 of NOLF2 and that will reinstall the codec. (This solves about 90% of the problems in the game...).

greyhaven, my game is very unstable too. it always goes back to my desktop when i reach a certain part of the first level

this games does have major problems. i was at chapter 3 and a guard ran into me and it froze my game. and when i rebooted and tried to continue my game, it jumped to my desktop while it was loading!

I have found a way to fix this Go To [url removed] and look on the forums there is a easy way to fix it

this is really annoying...no friggin sound, they should have released an official patch to go along with it or fixed it period

I have not had any problems with game, the only thing I think it needs is a little more BLOOD, You may have incompatible hardware.

Hi 2 ya,the Game worked most of the time fine (sometimes freeze, go back to desktop....under DX8.1b), until i installed this Patch. Then i got Grafxproblems .... F*** !!After reinst. with/without DirectX 8/9 nothing works :o(Looks like I have 2 wait for a official Patch with DX9-Fix ......
