This latest patch for Halo upgrades the game to version 1.03

List of changes:

Anti team killing â€" Implemented server-configurable team-killing banning solution. Removed respawn penalty from person who gets team killed. Increased respawn time multiplier for team killing.

Assault mode role indicator â€" "Offense" or "Defense" will appear on the HUD indicating which role your team is on

Assault mode timer â€" A permanent countdown timer is displayed on the HUD showing the time left for that "round".

Assault mode flag hard reset option â€" The flag will reset automatically at the end of each "round", even if it is being carried by someone.

Networking performance â€" Enhancement to player prediction

Persistent teams across mapcycle â€" Players will remain on the same team when a new map is started

Map quick restart â€" restarts any MP game â€" good for having all players start at the same time.

New in-game scoreboard â€" Displays players, kills, deaths, assists and ping

Increased chat text length â€" Chat length has been increased from 40 characters to 64 characters

Improved banned player detection - Banned players no longer appear in game for brief second before getting kicked out

Fixes:

Plasma grenades can no longer teleport on vehicles
Players standing on rock no longer experience "warping"
Teleporters no longer cause occasional camera out of sync
Cinematic speech bug with Audigy cards fixed
Game not starting with unsupported refresh rates fixed
"Telefraged" message is now displayed when a player is telefraged
Flashlight toggle bug in MP games fixed
Interrupting reload animation bug fixed

Dedicated Server:

Increased server name length â€" Server names can now be up to 63 characters in length

Expanded character set for server names â€" Server names can now contain extended punctuation and characters

RCON can now pass quotation marks to server â€" useful for turning on and off passwords

Fixed "-ip" for assigning which network card is used by the game

Fixed ability to restart a single instance of the server without restarting all instances

Before any morons come on here flaming about how much they can't play Halo...one easy way to ease your retarded ways! DON'T PLAY THE GAME IF YOU CAN'T PLAY IT! DUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!Unless you have the time to actually config your system ( I know you are gonna let the world know you got a bad ass machine but can't play halo ) stop complaining and try a new rig.

I can play Halo just fine, after I went through the game once I'm never going to play it again. Same shooter as any other shooter, multi isn't that bad except for the sudden jerks, lag and stuff.I'm disappointed with the game, I hope Far Cry, Doom 3, or Halflife 2 will keep my interests.

After playing through the single player of the PC Halo, I have no idea how this game got so popular on xbox. The SP sucks bad, the graphics are bad on even on highest settings (but I guess they are the best for the Xbox?), but the worst part is the prefabricated levels!! It seems like the level designers only modelled one room then hit the copy and paste buttons repeatedly!!! All of the rooms in the later levels are all the same! even worse, they expect you to go back though the same level again as it is repopulated with more and more enemies. The levels are so pathetic its bloody hillarious!!!
