The face of war has changed. Enemy lines blur, and there is no longer a clear opponent. New enemies and new threats require a new type of warfare - a new type of soldier. Enter the Ghosts.

In 2013, the U.S. Army will implement the Integrated Warfighter System (IWS), evolving what we know as the modern soldier. IWS combines advanced weapon systems, satellite communication devices and enhanced survivability into one fully integrated combat system. The IWS program has been developed to meet these new threats head on. Now, it can be tested on the battlefield.

Following an insurgence in the heart of Mexico City, the U.S. Army's most elite Special Forces team is deployed to the center of the conflict to regain control of the city. Greatly outnumbered but fully equipped with the IWS, this elite team is the first and last line of defense on the battlefield. They are the "Quiet" professionals. They are the Ghosts.

Features:

- Next-generation gaming technology: Ghost Recon 3 is built from the ground up for next-generation consoles, taking full advantage of powerful technology with amazing textures, lighting and particle effects, multi-windowing and state-of-the-art physics. Old generations will be built using top technology that pushes those systems to their limits.
- Become the soldier of the future: Gain access to the future of military technology. Using a fully integrated combat system with cutting-edge weapons and revolutionary communication systems (see below), gamers will embody the soldier of the future. Based on actual U.S. Army research, the Ghosts give gamers a realistic view of how war will be fought in the next decade.
- Revolutionary feature: Use the revolutionary Cross-Com, a communication device powered by satellite technology. Attached to the soldier's monocle, the Cross-Com provides full situational awareness and command of the battlefield. Command the Ghost squad and remote allied forces and drones, and direct artillery and air strikes. See what the squad sees and receive visual and auditory intel from allied forces and unmanned drones.
- Stunning urban environment: One city, multiple locations. Ghost Recon 3 takes place entirely in Mexico City, one of the world's largest cities. A stunning, meticulously detailed universe will provide complete immersion in the urban war of the future.
- Top-notch multiplayer experience: Ghost Recon 3returns to deliver industry-leading multiplayer and cooperative gameplay for one of the hottest online franchises with a host of exciting new features.

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

Just played the demo, and I must say, its not bad at all, I just dont see most PC owners being able to run this game even decently. The frame rate loss is pretty crazy. My bro has a 9800 pro 1.5gigs of ram and I a 9700 pro and 1gig of ram and it was fairly playable, but I dont see a lot of people that are going to be able to play multiplayer nor singleplayer smoothly.

McScrot, those cards don't suck, they're just way too old to run current games. The demo looks decent but nowhere near the expectation of current pc gamers. I guess not a lot of games will look good after playing Oblivion on max setting at 1680x1050 res. Most games these days are ports from console and bad ones too, that's why you don't see nice textures and alll that good stuff. Devs go for money and not for "the best" as they used to, when you buy a console you help this cause and lead to more crappy games and less hi-end pc development... This is my 2 cents folks.

"next gen" consoles can blow me. PC games will always be better, hands down. I don't know about everyone else, but I play games for a fun factor. If the graphic quality is a deciding factor for anyone, then not only are you a douche bag, but you have simultaneously defeated the purpose of gaming to begin with.....and when all else fails, I go out and play airsoft because it kicks the s**t out of any shooter game anyways.

I have a AMD Athlon 64 3000 and 7800 GT and 1024 mb ram, still laggs, all the ones i know, one with double 7900 GTX 512 and 2048 ram and fx60 and it laggs for him too, its a bug..Graphics are fine by me, i dont expect more from tactical shooters, awesome gameplay, but lagg ruins it all... too bad, if they dont correct this, this game is dead for pc..

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

Slow paced shooter,im used to warpath so this game is such s**t.its like its in slow motion, graphics are nothing to hl2 or Doom 3!Or even Far cry.Takes 2 hours to load with 2 gb ram and 3 ghz processor.in the time it loads i could be doing much more so therefore i deleted this game, waste of space, waste of time.UBIsoft usually sucks anyways, most of ubisoft games i get laggy mouse but good fps.and that really sucks in these type of games.

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

this game seems to be using a pretty weak engine, for all the stuff thats running in the game its incredibly Advanced like it says.Ubisoft just needs to spend alot more time on the engine getting it to use the video card's muscle more than the CPU.When i play HL2 I only get 80% or less of my processor power used up, but with this game 100% all the time.I love the tactical twist the game has on it. Im sure you would all love it alot more if it ran smooth like CS or something.

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

have to say im not impressed. have to run in 8x6 just to get 16 fps on a 6800(411/1150) p4-3G @3.5 ddr400 gig. thats ridiculous. f**kin c**ks only give a s**t about money. they need to take some developer classes from id. i only buy id and activision from now on. well and monolith condemned and fear are godly games.

None of the game's i've played had such a large and dense operation area. Also; It will only take a little while ( 2 to 4 month) before buyebla pc's overpower every next-gen console. We've sen this a couple of times already remmember... Just stop the whinnin' and start saving some money so maybe you could play these kind of games...

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

well i have been a Ghost player since the first one, I like the game play and it only lags a little on my system that isn't even supposed to be able to play it...AMD Athlon 2600+ OC'ed @ 2.2 GHz 1.25 Gig DDRATI 9500 Pro 128Mitsubishi Diamond point NX85 LCD 1280x1024I like it But it will never replace the previous Ghost versionsPCs pawn consoles
