Gun Metal from Yeti Studios is a futuristic action packed experience where you take control of the fully transformable, prototype combat vehicle known as the Havoc Suit. anyone ever remember the very old Gunmetal game from Madgenius Software?... that game was awesome! The company folded, but luckily I snagged a copy that had been sitting on Future Shop's shelves for at least 3 years. That game is near-impossible to find, if anybody absolutely wants it just leave ur e-mail here.peace

I got the demo, and according to the readme I have to update drivers. Fair enough, I just got Direct X 9 as well, so might as well get latest Nvidia drivers. Im running a GeForce 4 Ti4200, and it minimizes back to desktop as well!I then had to rollback the nvidia drivers cause it screwed up the graphics of the game of all games = Counterstrike. Looks like i'll stick with that then :(If anyone has any ideas how to fix it plz post.

happens to me too. i get the screen that says its still in development or something like that and then it does back to the desktop.i have geforce 4 ti 4200 with latest drivers and DX9.i wanna ask the the guys who got it to work. r u using DX9? i think that may be the problem....either that or the vid card drivers.

NVidia only? FFS this has to be coded with the d**k... I mean with the head... oh whatever, in this case they surely correspond.I can, like, figure the coders going all for an NVidia coding style goddamnit they must be a bunch of morons.NVidia SUCKS d**k, get over with it ppl and buy a more EFFICIENT card. ATIs and MATROXs cost LESS and perform BETTER, unless you wanna pay 600 pieces for an NVidia that is BARELY better than a 300's ATI.

ok i have a GF4 ti4200 but for some reason it will not play after it shows the "demo is not finished blah blah blah" screen the game basically shuts down,im also running the 41.80 drivers but still dont work ;(

I have a 1 ghz athlon with a GF4 ti4200 and direct x 9 installed with the 41.09 drivers and the game crashes as soon as try and transform. Im thinking about downloading the creative direct x 9 drivers cos that might fix the prob.

Ok, that happend to me to. After i played the game it kicked me back to desktop. But after i turn off the anisotropic filtering, antialiasing and texture sharpening everything's fine. And sure.. it's a great Eye candy

12 minutes to download the game, and about 3 minutes to beat the one level in the game.It was pretty good, though. I like those bright outdoor graphics better than the dark shit Doom 3 has. lol

For everyone having driver problems, try the 40.72 detonators. These are the newest ones with WHQL - no newer ones have been given WHQL and the 41x and 42x series seem to show all sorts of errors in many games, OpenGL and DirectX.Also, get DirectX9a from Microsoft, as this fixes some bugs in 9.0.

Ok their seem to be a lot of morons in here. This game is only compatible with NVIDIA based graphics cards. Use driver version 44.03And get DirectX 9.0bIf you have an ATI card eat shit you Canadian lover

reason it doesn't work 4 ppl who have dx9 is because, like everything that comes out of Microsoft, it is shit, fortunately dx9b is a bit better so get that and try the game again. It it still doesn't work, try reinstalling after updating to DX9b. Like I said the game works on an ATI Radeon 8500 and I'm about to try it on an nvidia GF4. And by the way, there is no such thing as a nvidia only game, if anyone tells u that this game was purposely made not to work on an ATI, slap them upside the head and call them a shithead.

SHIT HEAPWow you my good man are not a moron. Thanks for clarifying that their is no such thing as an nvidia only game. Of course it is optimised for nvidia based cards, but your right, it will work on ATI cards as well. So I did me and you a favor by sticking my foot in my mouth :) I guess I was just in love with my new GeForce FX and I just wanted to say something negative about ATI. I have owned ant ATI 9100 but I have to say, I was dissapointed. But I can't say I've been completely satisified with NVIDIA either. But nvidia's prices on their lower end GeForce FX cards are just right. So I guess what I was really trying to say in my last post was this game is optimised for nvidia based cards so you just might encounter some problems with an ati card. so good luck if your running an ati. oh yeah and my latest experiences with ati makes me a firm believer that they suck, and the prices suck.
