This is a demo for Based on the Land of the Dead. This new chapter in the Living Dead series is a full-featured, first-person shooter video game sets players in the midst of a gruesome adventure in which they battle to save themselves. Check out some zombie-infested footage.

Although short, this demo was fun. It's a budget title with modest requirements (I ran it on a p4 1.8, 1GB sdram, Radeon9600 and got excellent framerates with settings maxed), but the graphics are good and there are plenty of scares. Let's hope they put out a multiplayer demo!

Well, s**tty graphics and it's a pain in the ass to play (f**ked up controls). The physics are... well... let's not talk about them, shall we :) But I got scared a few times and my heart began to beat like a Drum&Bass party as those zombies approached :P Could turn out as a funny game to waste one hour per day.

Excellent budget title, it makes full use of the engine it uses (I'm guessing UT 2004). The physics aren't bad and zombies fly realistically after being grenaded.Like in Postal 2 AW you can also shoot limbs off, blow a zombies legs off to see it claw furiously at the ground trying to reach you.Hoping that the multiplayer modes feature some very cool co-op zombie killing.

For a budget game is very good... ok, i guess it will not have a deep storyline or AMAZING graphics effect, but it's easy to play and will have multiplayer modes. A perfect game for 20minutes-short plays every so often

Can't help but feel let down. Ok, so zombies are slow, but the whole demo feels like that. The music drags on what sounds like its on repeat, and hitting a zombie with a melee weapons takes far too long with little effect. Deaths appear random too, rather than according to how you kill them

This is how FPS should be done. Very light graphic engine, no waste in ridiculous graphics, hi-quality textures and amazing design & gameplay. Too bad that music sucks... Sometimes it's just a stupid loop. Oh well, AI and physics are quite good too, it's a pity there are just zombies... Maybe it's because it's made out of a crappy movie :( Also, I'd have loved the chance to mutilate dead zombies and corpses.
