The world-famous collectible card game has been around for years. Now the latest rules, the latest cards and the latest combos are coming home.

In Magic: The Gathering, you play as a wizard, seeking the life of another wizard in a duel to the death as you try to win by the use of spells, monsters, and artifacts, all represented by cards. You can also win by exhausting your opponent's supply of cards, but what fun is that? Isn't it much better to defeat your enemy with a horde of goblins or squirrels?

If you've never played Magic, whether electronic or in person, download this demo to become familiar with the rules, the interface of the game, and the excellent artwork that has been the trademark of Magic: The Gathering for years.

Magic: The Gathering 7th Edition

I own "Magic the Gathering," "Spells of the Ancients" and "Manalink" that plays just like the card game. These were the card-computer games from years ago from (the now defunct) Microprose. It is still a great game and hopefully this will pass as a much needed update when it is finally released.

The demo is full of bugs.Once you get to advance level, it starts to show you a window from basic game(cards of lands and creatures).Pressing NEXT for three(!) times solves this problem! Also when you finnally defeat your opponent in advance level, it does not display the result! But MTG is an awsome game!

Magic: The Gathering 7th Edition

I own (bought) the original Micropose game LONG ago. I would 100% reccomend and would buy a new version of this Great Game.Does anybody know if there's any support for the old version of this game...it only works on W95/98 system....won't run on winME. Also it runs VERY fast almost unplayable on newer systems........Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I sure do miss all those great games from Microprose.

Magic: The Gathering 7th Edition

I have downloaded the Demo too.It is shitty programmed by Micropose. I have even added some new decks, I have now 75 playable decks for the demo :).I'm now making the same game like Micropose did BUT in FLASH! Yes Flash from Macromedia. Why flash ? Because Flash does not require high CPU Load and the game will be running smoothly (even on 500 mhz comps) AND no big download (if I can compress it well enough). Oh yes I will be trying to find as much magic cards and decks online to put them in the flash game, so updates are frequently.I will leave a message here when the game is finished so we don't have to play the crappy game from Micropose. I'm not saying Micropose cannot create games, it's just that it's full of bugs, no game support anymore (i guess) and you need to buy it :)My version will contain as much decks and cards as I can find online and FOR FREE !!I will send the game to [url removed] so every flash fanatic can see it immediately ...I hope nothing is blocking my way ...

Magic: The Gathering 7th Edition

Oh I need to tell you this.Looks like some of us is talking about "Magic Starter 7th Edition Demo" well I have that too. that game is great only short demo. The game i mentioned beneath is Magig The Gathering Trading Card Game. Its also a Demo but i have added new cards and decks to it. So its not a short demo. The graphics do suck in that game, its also that game where you'll find loads of bugs and slow performance ...
