Gifu: The Real History
Gifu was the name of area held as a Japanese stronghold near the Matanikau River on the island of Guadalcanal, named by the Japanese after the Gifu Prefecture in Japan. The Japanese had constructed an elaborate, horseshoe-shaped trench system, comprised of over 40 bunkers and reinforced with logs along the slopes of Mount Austen.

The men of the combined US Marine Corps and Army Divisions, organized as the XIV Corps under General Alexander M. Patch, fought and died valiantly for 22 days to take over the Gifu stronghold and the hundreds of Japanese soldiers stationed inside. It finally fell to the Allies in the final days of December, 1942, and it was a significant step towards the Allied goal of secure the Matanikau River area, Henderson Field, and wiping out the Japanese forces stationed on Guadalcanal.

Ray anonymous is right, ur card doesn't support pixel shader at all. When i had my old mx440 & tried to play max payne 2, it wouldn't allow me to play that due to not supporting pixel shader & something to do with virtual ram. Silent hill 3 won't run on that card either. Games that will however run very well on the nvidia gforce 4 mx440 are call of duty, halo, max payne 1, splinter cell 1 & medal of honor allied assault. This all depends whether u have a decent processor speed ofcourse.

Ray and anonymus u guys maybe has a bad PC, look i had an P4 at 2.6 and 256 RAM with an nVIDIA GeFORCE4 420MX and Max payne1,2 Splinter Cell 1 and other games of that time ran nice others like DOOM3 ran a lil slow at 860x600 so i've sold that system and Now i got a better one, I've downloaded MoH:PA and runs pretty nice.

havent played the mp demo yet, only the sp although i dont think i will be buying this from what ive seen so far.for a start my (pretty high spec) pc gets a bad framerate on the sp demo and i have no plans to upgrade yet for a few more months at least.also the gameplay appeared average compared to other new fps games.i think for now i will be sticking to call of duty, it might not have the best graphics but it still plays perfect!

You guys are lying about your computer setup. Mine is worse than what you've all listed, and the game runs splendidly with all the graphics and resolution at 1024x768 at least. The only time it ever really slows down is at the very beginning of a level after the load time.I can't imagine someone with such poor grammar and spelling skills to have the intelligence to actually build a nice computer.

No, no one is lying, I have a AMD 3400, sadly the newcastle core, but I did not want it they replaced it with the wrong one. I do lag terrible on the demo, granted I do only have 512 ram, which I shouldn't because I bought more but it wont fit in my machine. Graphic card aint top of the line fx 5700, but still its lagging. Graphic card will make the biggest difference I guess.

I havent played this yet and I probably wont because all the games EA release are good and look good but have so many bugs it bogs it down to hell and back no matter what you have, If I ever do play it I will wait for about 2-3 updates. The only games from EA I havent encountered many problems was Rome total war and any sports game other than that rushed is a understatement.

It is an entierly differant game... You do not need MOHAA, MOHSH, or MOHBT, I mean have you looked at the screens??? Do you think the quake three engine can do that?? Umm I have a legitimate question for some of you posters... why is it absolutly nessisary for you to put your specs down when you don't have a problem... do you think people will be impressed or mabey e-mail you some random praise?? ohh and Eric ... download is one word.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault - Multiplayer Demo

what a freaking idiot... That eric guy can say whatever the hell he wants man. so what if download is one word?"absolutly nessisary"is supposed to be absolutely necessary" entierly differant"is supposed to be entirely different"mabey"maby? wtf is that? its may be you idiotif you're going to correct other people on their flaws correct yourself first you hypocritical bitch...
