Tribes : Vengeance SP Demo

I can't wait to try out this demo. I am psyched up about a new TRIBES

The 2nd post was me, and yes I was in the closed beta. It sucks.

Well i just tried it out and from what they let you do in the demo is not much fun. You just play around in an arena fighting wave after wave of dudes. Anyway the graphics are ok but not that extensive as halo's with the bump mapping.

I played the beta and let me tell you that Tribes 2 is a better game. Tribes 2 has more packs, more vehicules, bigger maps, beacons, spider sentry guns, etc. T:V has only 4 packs (cloak pack is absent...), no beacons, small maps, few vehicules, less guns and the GUIs are amateur (vs Tribes 2).If only Tribes 2 had not so many bugs when it was released, it would have been the best game ever released!

This sp sounds like q3's sp. Just fight bots in an arena with no storyline (well there is an attempt at one).

Tribes 2 was also terrible compared to the first, each new tribes game they release they dumb it down for the masses.

You know dumbing it down for the masses was orinally in Mein Kampf, scary huh?

read the description next time"The Emperor has granted his request, but first Daniel must successfully complete a traditional combat trial." so odds are this level is like quake 3

tribes 2 needed skill till they changed it to death then it was stupid like tribes1 and quake together, now tribes vengence is even worst

This game is awesome! the mechanics are like that of Shadow warrior 2 where you face the evil villain at the end, but come to finf out that shes actually a man! it was way surprising!I love this tribes Demo, i actually loaded it onto all the computers at work and let the co-workers have a try, they LOVED It! Dynamix really did it this time, this game is SOOOOO worth buying!I had a pair of brown sneakers that i love more than my wife, that i am actually considering trading for this game when it comes out!im getting 54 FPS !!!!! Kinda suck its like deathmatch except your given uneven odds like lack of f*cking weapons and friendly AI that just sit there in turrets not actually doing anything. I know this game is better than this online but man this sp demo is weak..

hey Anonymous, dumbing it down for the masses first came up with Lenin's Opiate for the masses (religion) so Hitler was not being very innovative in Mein Kampf.In any case dumbing down has become a U.S. skill and thank Hollywood (and now the gaming industry) we get enough of it.

Loved the demo.. Graphics are awsome.. Really liked the arena battles. I think this game is a winner. Can't wait too see the full game.. Ran really smooth on my 9800pro/xp2400 cpu

Ok ,It's not a MAJOR breakthrough after playing Doom3 , Counter Strike : Source ... but the gameplay is MORE than fun ..Compared to the stupid deathmatch of the stupid game on earth UT2004 .. it's SUPERB.. at least the QUOTES ur friendly units make , are RELATED to the situation and mean something .. insted of .. " BITCH " " GOTCHA " and all that crap ..I recommend this for ppl who Hate the likes of Serious sam and PainKiller .

now u tellin me that un2004 suck .. if it was suck then why it got that pop wide world dude !and try and play it in the network places it's awesome ! lolcompared to doom 3 ! doom3 only can be played as signle player but in multiplayer it's boring !

This game sucks, its so short. Why bother paying for it, when you can download it for free at MG :). Why did I even bother downloading it, it wasted my money on bandwidth costs cause its short and sucks badly. Dont buy this game, honestly its short and disappointing, then gfx arn't bad, but still its got bugs and no MP so its not worth purchasing

The game is great fun. Better than UT or Quake because of the speed and more skill based gameplay. The single player demo is really for people that are new to tribes. Multiplayer is where its at, especially if you get a server with lots of people that know what they're doing.

I am not willing to buy this until i see and witness multi-player action in a demo with my own two eyes.

NO use COMPLAINING about anything until MP comes out. Also, it isn't currently comparable to already established net games which have mods, packs, updates, etc.

HEY, screw graphics, screw sound, screw quake, and screw UT. Stop comparing oranges to apples. This game looks like its got the potential to be really good because it has got a good, balanced gameplay base. DONT knock it if u cant think and play in 3 dimensions or use a jetpack. The general playability of ALL the TRIBES games is GREAT in MULTIPLAYER. NOTE that any game's measure of how 'good' it is is based on the multiplayer base of it. If T:V has no MP or shit MP, then it is screwed. However, if it has a very good MP, then it will be very successful.

i'd like to take this opportunity to say that DOOM 3 IS SHIT: even though it's very immersive;DOOM3 features:1) shit lighting2) shit gameplay3) shit multiplayer4) boring5) no replayability6) good graphics - who gives a shit?i have a radeon9800pro/p4 3GHz and can play on high quality with mp3s in background....DOOM 3 is shit.What matters in a game isPLAYABILITY & QUALITY OF GAMEPLAY i.e. how fun it is to play. In this case TRIBES 1 is more fun than DOOM3

OK, I played the Full game,Single player, KICKS ASS (AI) is perfectMulti Play, ROCKS (Very fast)THe gameplay is easy to learn but hard to master so a large public is interested in this game.So shut up with all the crap you guys are talking about..okConclusion is that this game could be a very big hit.
