2K Games and PTERODON proudly present the official multiplayer demo of the forthcoming sequel to Vietcong, Vietcong 2.

Developed by PTERODON, Vietcong 2 is a first person shooter set against the background of the 1968 Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War.

The Vietcong 2 multiplayer demo features two exhilarating levels, combining a small US Special Forces military training complex, and a 32 player heliport site of American aircrafts in a dense jungle of Vietnam, as well as three unique character classes to choose from in both the US and Vietcong teams.

The Vietcong 2 multiplayer demo requires a minimum of 256 MB RAM, 2.0 GHz CPU or equivalent, and a DirectX(R) 9.0 compliant video card with pixel shader 2.0 support.

You may start your duty as a soldier in the Vietnam War now by downloading the Vietcong 2 multiplayer demo from one of the mirrors below. Mirror links will be added progressively throughout the day.

Vietcong 2 is currently scheduled for release on the 7th of October 2005.

I have to say I wasn't sure how good it was gonna be since Vietcong wasn't the greatest. But they did a good job on vietcong 2. I for one enjoyed playing multiplayer.. onto the next demo Age of Empires 3!
