GL-117 is an OpenGL action flight simulator for Linux/Unix and MSWindows.
Enter the Eagle Squadron and succeed in several challanging missions leading though different landscapes. Five predefined levels of video quality and an amount of viewing ranges let you perfectly adjust the game to the performance of your system. Joystick, mouse, sound effects, music..
Note
You might have to install GL, GLU, GLUT, and SDL, SDL_mixer.
Look into your system directory, that is
WINDOWSSYSTEM for Win9x/ME
WINDOWSSYSTEM32 for WinNT/2000/XP
You need the files opengl32.dll, glu32.dll, glut32.dll, and sdl.dll, sdl_mixer.dll there!

Needed to remove some extra semicolumns to compile with gcc (GCC) 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk)on a x86 Mandrake 10.1 community .(no need to put a ; after } at the end of a function definition,this gcc considers it as a FATAL error :-D)After that it worked perfectely even if it's quite hard , even in easy mode . Maibe the physical system should be refined a bit , the landscapes less high , the cannon more harmful , and the plane less resistant to impact with the ground .With a huge respect to all the work(ers) , technically and graphically it is really nice . I´d be proud to have done it .
