To get runners on base all you need to do is bunt and hold the right analog stick down and to the leftworks with any batter that has speed stats 80 or above and bunt stats 70 and above.

when you are playing everytime you bat put your left analog stick up and hold it and get a good timing when you bat and you are going to hit a homerun everytime.

In dynasty or owner mode go to edit player in the rosters screen and edit your player's attribute to whatever you want.
