So you've kicked alien invaders off Earth dozens of times, but always wondered what the next step would be? Solar War is my attempt to put that scenario into a turn-based strategy game, combining some novel ideas with familiar concepts from different subgenres of classic strategy games like Master of Orion (complex and powerful ship designer, tactical combat), XCom (managing expectations of your funding nations) or Hearts of Iron (officer management and advancement).
