Everyone knows what you just explained, instead of talking out of your ass just take each game for what it is, one hell of an experience. Doom3 is not mutliplayer friendly, even if mods can support more then 4 players its going to be Difficult for the Doom3 engine to support 20+ people due to its high detail. 10 player is fun but The difference between the doom3 engine and the source engine, not hl2 because its being RUN off teh source engine, is the source engine is catered to Mod developers, its catered to multiplayer, vavle realized what made HL so popular, its multi and mod base. SO Doom3 has the singleplayer aspect going for it, very well, to which HL2 does too but I bet you will find the most talked about thing with Source is, its incredible ease with modding. Just look at how many mods are already in development for souce compared to Doom3.

If TI4400 is crap then what is my radeon 8500?I've had this little baby(That I know u all call it crap) for 2 years right now and I have played FarCry-UT2004-Painkiller-Splinter Cell PT,and many other games with high ranked graphics with high details and nice performance.My radeon 8500 gets 9000 points in 3D MARK2001(Not SE) with AthlonXP 2000+,and TI4400 will get about 12000 in a system like mine so it's even better than mine.But 8500's technology is more advanced and it doesn't skip any tests in 3D MARK 2001.My system specs:Athlon XP 2000-Radeon 8500-512 MB Twinmos ram-ASUS A7N8X-X.Anyone knows how much is the score of other cards in 3D MARK 2001?

and thx for that link to hardocp.seems its gonna run just fine on my pc with some nice high resolution and details :)but anybody know why fps is limited to 60? most monitors have refresh rates well above that these days so it cant be to do with vsync.i hope that you can delimit the fps in the config

Where did it ever say a release date of september 30, 2003? It said September 30, never 2003. That can imply 2004 or anything. Sorry but get your facts straight. I already knew it was never going to come out september 30th 2003, it was announced too soon. The source code theft has very little to do with the delay. Mostly all that was stolen was demo from E3 2003. Developers always delay games, doom3 has been delayed plenty of times. Maybe they didn't plan it perfect but I bet they werent going to release it before ID released doom3.

I just beat it. All I can say is it performs worse then it should on ATI cards because of the lack of 3Dc. Its a bit over-rated but has better physics then I was expecting. Multiplayer is as I expected - bad.Overall though its a good game

I just pre oredered DOom 3 from ebgames and i m going to buy new GEFORCE 6800 bcuz my currect radeon 9800 sucks with this game.

from this i can tell that it's gonna be a GREAT GAME AT FIRST!but onece you've finished it onece or twice your gonna get hell bored of it Cuz the multiplayer it has IS CRAP!!! ID said it them selfs that they weren't really consentraiting on the multiplayer! mainly the single player is gonna be goodand it's probly gonna have say 20or25 levels which isn't really much at all, I hope Halflife2 has a really good multiplayer!

if it lives up to the original dooms then you'll never pass it above the easiest difficulty levels, which is cool. i just hope it's not short, but even if it is, it's going to be very scarry and cool.and why are people spreading pirate propaganda?oh, btw, why doesn't the download work? it says it cannot connect or some bullshit.

Well I downloaded it and have played the first two missions.Good game but even the single player enjoyment can not be compared with my favourite UT2004 let alone to multiplayer.

If it's too short, then increase difficulty.
