Well...I love them Final Fantasy games from the first to the 9th part...couldn't play X , cuz I don't wan't a shitty PSX2 for just one game......but a girl as protagonist may really be a bit strange... :-/

you all suck!!!! Final Fantasy is, in my opinion, one of the best series of games ever made! If you don't like it, just don't play it, it's as simple as that. It's not your fault that you don't like games which have a good story without a lot of blood...:-)

i wont be buying any more final fantasy games that is for sure, i was very diappointed with 9 and 10. no way will i get another. 2 and 3, and 7 are the best. dont even bother with the others. espescially 9. omg it sucks

i was playing the ff games back in the early 90's, you kids have no clue what a good rpg is. play ff3, and that is all i have to say

1/ Americans take note. FF3 wasn't that good. FF6, however, with Locke Cole, was good. Get the names right. Rich, you clearly aren't as clued up as you like to think. I bet you never even completed Mystic Quest.2/ 9 was a big dissapointment and was clearly designed as a reminiscent piece rather than a fresh game. 10 was too linear, but was still fun.3/ There's nothing wrong with a female protagonist, look at Parasite Eve. Grow up.4/ First person to question my name earns a big slap with the newbie stick.

I dont think X-2 looks to good,i think 10 might be better.Anyways its gonna sell alot of copies..And now that Splinter Cell is CONFIRMED-(IGN) for GC and PS2 what games will xbox have to combat the other 2 systems games like Metroid and FFX-2 ?

It was renamed to FF3 for the US to avoid confusing people like you.Fardarka: It's a sequel. A seperate storyline. It happens a lot.Mike: I doubt that FFX-2 and FFXII will be the last we see on Sony Consoles as Sony owns a 18.5% share of Square, which is a large amount of a games company to own. Also there are plans for an FF7-2, but I fail to see the space for a sequel there. And of courtse, FFXIII and FFIV are already under development for compatibility with Sony's source coding.

ff fans - ff2 and ff3 is a completely different game, it wasnt released out of japan. When square did release ff games outside of japan, they were ff4, ff5 and ff6.the american version of ff already had 1. to continue the sequel of ff, square rename ff4 ff5 ff6 to ff2 ff3 ff4.currently square is remaking ff1 ff2 - also being released in english for the first time in late 2003 US

this game is going to be an interesting sequel. since ffx was the best ff in the whole series, it leads me to believe that this coming game will be a great addition to the ff's

final fantasy seven-2 is just a remake with better graphics and sound. story and gameplay are the same as far as I can tell. The new FF for gamecube looks nice.
