At this years E3, GameSpy and IGN were able to capture theater showings of Vivendi' Half Life 2 video.

ATI and Vivendi Universal Games are showing two seperate Half-Life 2 events at this years E3 and IGN/GameSpy got them both in a single movie.

This is going to rule all rumor is they're re-making HL 1 with HL2 souce engine! You see Counter strike source in this one. Could be doing Team Fortress too!?!The vid itself is huge it looks much better in motion than it does on pictures. They've also improved the crowbar from last years E3 movie. i.e. worth the download.

This was pretty boring. the noveltyof the antigravity gun & physics hasworn off. Valve says that they intend to make the best FPS EVER,while ID says Doom will be the best FPS made by ID. I think ID's goal is a bit more realistic.Valve needs to get over themselves.Again, this was pretty boring.

You say The footage old and boring and unreal 3 is way better? Yeah the vid is amazin for Unreal 3 but its not the friggin game is it??? its showing us what the engine is capable of achieving! Half life has been in development for a while now so the engine isnt as advanced graphically as the Unreal, besides graphics don't = gameplay. They never have Devistation anyone??? Worst game Ive ever played. Half life will be enjoyable and beautiful at the same time, the footage shown looks amazing and it is in game footage. If graphics are all your bothered about then HL3 will be the next step forward again. So lets all go buy half life when it hits the shelves and play what will be the best FPS so far and for the next few year- that is until HL2...Zakalwe out.

I agree with Zakalwe in that h-l 2 promises to be an immense game with the depth and reality required to kick ass against any other FPS available or upcoming! Im also an unreal fan but when following the updates on h-l 2 I am simply blown away and the more I hear about it, the more I want the game to come out and cure my lust for kicking alien adn monster butt alike! Rock on Half-Life 2!!! Grrrrrrr
