Half-Life 2 Kleiner's Lab Movie

Total votes: 42

This is the third movie for Half-Life 2. This movie released from Valve at E3 2003, and it shows the section of Kleiner's Lab from Half Life 2.

Game Info:

Gordon Freeman is back! Along with scientist Eli Vance and his daughter Alyx, your mission is to save the world from total alien domination. See, that little incident in Black Mesa was just the beginning: now those pesky Xen invaders have spread across the whole Earth, causing massive amounts of death and destruction. It's up to you to set things right.
Half-Life 2 picks up some time after the original Half-Life left off - with Gordon working for the G-Man - and takes place in and around an eastern European-type city called City 17. Multiplayer will be included, but Valve hasn't disclosed any additional info about online play at this time (although we do know there won't be built-in co-op). For more information, check out GameSpy.com's Half-Life 2 preview.

The game is powered by Valve's new internally developed "Source" engine, and is currently scheduled for a September 30, 2003 release.

Half-Life 2 Kleiner's Lab Movie

Hey folks, I've gotta say, this video is just stunning. It shows off a lot of features that really set this game appart. It is a MUST see for anyone who has any question about Half-Life 2's Technology. This is the first Half-Life 2 movie I have seen. I'm writing this a day after because at the time I saw it I couldn't think, let alone type! I have been looking forward to this game since I read the first review on the June, 2003 issue of CGW. I wasn't much of a PC gamer at the time and, though I had heard about, I didn't know anything about the orriginal Half-Life.This movie really whetted my apitite for more of Half-Life 2. The subtilties of the ****** expessions, the incredible physics effects, all displayed very upclose. A highlight for me is durring the oppening seconds, when Alyx is having a moment with Gordon, *you*, and and from behind you comes a slight bang like a dropped tray, at which noise Alyx realisticly starts, and then....gasp......rolls her eyes! The subtilty of that sequence shows me a few things; first, the charecter effects are incredible. That you could see that kind of detail in a game is just insane. Second, and even more importantly, we see a company that is that devoted to even such a minor detail. This tells me that, no matter what the worrie, this game is in very good hands. Enjoy!
