Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that Need for Speed Carbon is in development and will hit the streets this November. Developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, British Columbia, Need for Speed Carbon will offer players a mix of the Underground and previous NFS games while driving will take place on treacherous canyon roads.

To celebrate the announcement EA has released a new teaser trailer which should do just enough to get all driving game fans ready for the game.

What starts in the city is settled in the canyons as Need for Speed Carbon immerses you into the world's most dangerous and adrenaline-filled form of street racing. You and your crew must race in an all-out war for the city, risking everything to take over your rivals' neighborhoods one block at a time. As the police turn up the heat, the battle ultimately shifts to Carbon Canyon, where territories and reputations can be lost on every perilous curve. Need for Speed Carbon delivers the next generation of customization giving you the power to design and tweak your crew's cars in every way using the ground-breaking new Autosculpt technology. Represent your car class, your crew, and your turf in Need for Speed Carbon, the next revolution in racing games.

i love EA they release awesome stuff, i love how they generaly release a NFS title ever november, its exciting and i always love them!!! the only problem i usualy have with them is they generaly have somewhat confusing multiplayer lacking ease of use, KEEP GOING!!!!!

dont need to be an old man to not enjoy the concept of a 4th(maybe 5th) game in a series about the same thing, with very few real changes except adding cars and tweaking graphicsi'd enjoy it if they tried something different, but after NFSU/NFSU2 it got boring, EA should stop milking the NFS series, or at least put some effort/thought into it

ea needs to go back to the roots of NFS every NFS game since porsche unleashed hasent been all that great they have been putting to much effort in to this console crap like catch-up ea started making s**tty games when simple electronic arts became EA games i miss the good old days of NFS high stakes enough of this fast and furious knockoff crap it didnt make the nfs series bring back the exotic cars cops and kick the car modding to the curb and allow users to mod the game one great thing about the older nfs games was the ability to createdownload other cars and tracks for them a feature lost after porsche unleashed (yeah i know u can replace cars in hp2 but thats gay i want to add not replace)

NFS HS was absolutely fun online when the servers didnt kick me off (prolly cause I would win most of the time)In my opinion, and having raced HS online for damn near 3 years, beating the world champion couple of times, yea I have to say HS on PC was the best, to bad the audio didnt output in dolby like on the playstation version of HS. But my APU took care of that little quirk. I cant wait to buy this game for my nForce 2 Delux gaming systembtw, NO Freaken Mods! Great Race All!
