AMD VP: PC Gaming Is Astoundingly Healthy

While a lot of analysts and publishers continue to claim that "PC is dying", AMD's senior vice president and general manager, Rick Bergman, believes that it is actually in an astounding state.

Speaking to Venture Beat, Bergman was asked about gaming on PC. "There is a very compelling story on why PC gaming is so healthy now," Bergman explained. "When you consider shipments of high-end gaming rigs and strong sales of online games such as World of Warcraft, you can see how strong it is. Sales at the high-end continue to astound me."

ya they should know... they sell cheaper lower end chips, yet intel still makes more money then them from there high end cpu's. if PC gaming were dead, do you think new video cards would cost $600+ they cost that much because PC gaming is still going strong, and people are buying systems and want to buy them(and most mmo's don't need high end systems so its not just them bolstering the sales)
