ATI CATALYST v4.9 Drivers

ATI CATALYST drivers provide fully qualified display support for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 systems with Radeon display cards, but requires a special version of ATI's Video Capture (WDM) drivers for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 systems with All-in-Wonder boards, which will be provided by your computer manufacturer.

ATI CATALYST v4.9 Drivers

about love ATIs hardware and hate software .. Its well known issue that ATIs software is much more advanced than nvidias - look at the hardware, nvidias 6800 is much more advanced yet ati competes with it just FINE..I have 9700 pro, i have no problem, only time it gave me VPU error was when i first played Call of duty. What about Nvidias card frying on screensavers, bechmarks of how their card crachhs all the time expecially with 3d pro apps.Think be4 u talk and read some reviews

Man, i have problems overriding the refresh rate. When i want to adjust my refresh rite under all resolutions to a single resolution like 85hz, and i hit apply, nothing happens. I mus tuninstall the control center, and then it works, o its a control center issue..Please fix this problem ,my dear pells from Ati . :D

You have to love those 12 year old Nvidia fanboys. They love to claim that the ForceWare drivers are perfect. Don't make me laugh. They have the same amount of issues. The only difference is Nvidia releases new drivers 1 every 3-4 months. ATI releases 1 every month. So if a game runs Uber shitty on your Nvidia based card due to driver issues, your f**ked for at least 3 months. Perfect example. UT2004 and FarCry when it was first released. It took 6 MONTHS FOR FARCRY TO RUN AT IT'S BEST ON NVIDIA CARDS. AND TOOK 3 MONTHS FOR UT2004 TO DO THE SAME!!!! Not so with ATI drivers. Frequent releases are great.

"Keep telling yourself that downloading frequent shit just for them to keep up in performance levels is a good thing. That is called shity programming."Buddy, that's called innovation. If you want to convince yourself to keep drivers for almost a half a year, you go ahead. I will take the frequent updates to improve frame rates and IQ anyday over infrequent updates.

I recently upgraded from a radeon 9800pro 128 to a X800 256. I deleted all the drivers and even used NFR (nasty file remover) to delete previous driver settings. The control center is crashing and I also got an error message when I boot. I uninstalled the control center and just installed this driver and I've had no problem since. I'm currently running:p4 3.4HT1gig ram520w power supplyThis shouldn't be a problem for my machine but I guess there has only been one version released and it probably just needs a revision. Overall ATI has been much better in supporting their products than Nvidia and I'm pretty happy with them.
