Bethesda: No Current Plans For Elder Scrolls 5

Bethesda has confirmed officially that it is done with Fallout 3 and that the recently released Mothership Zeta DLC is the last DLC for the game.

The company is working now on their next big hit; Unfortunately for The Elder Scrolls fans, this new game won't belong to the famed RPG series.

"We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it," Bethesda game director Todd Howard said before adding that they "have no current plans" to develop a new Elder Scrolls game.

Howard didn't reveal anything else, but when a cunning fan asked about an Elder Scrolls MMO, he answered saying that "there's always a chance."

Bethesda: No Current Plans For Elder Scrolls 5

at 19:12 17/8/2009"i would prefer to see more games from them that don't use the same engine. they have been using it since vampire bloodlines."...except for the fact that Bethesda had nothing to do with Vampire Bloodlines. Nevermind the fact that Bloodlines was made using Valve's Source engine, not the engine Bethesda uses for their games. This kind of angers me, especially since last year they announced that work had begun on the next ES game...

you guys do know oblivion was the most crap game ever right? just playing it you could tell it was a rushed game, the game felt really stiff, character movements were weird, its like they were making it for the ps2 but decided to put it on the xbox360/Pc instead with prettied up graphics.

well seeing as it took what, 6 years for them to produce oblivion? (the dev team as assigned shortly before morrowind was even released) then I'd assume ya, it will take time. and of course they'll make another one. not only does this rake in huge amounts of cash. the last two games got over 40 awards each... and were considered the best games at the time. it'd be retarded not to make another one. especially since they don't have to link the plots at all

Stupid people ask, "who cares" as if they assume every one thinks like they do, man get over your self. Plenty of people care. And if their games are so crappy, then why don't you get out of your parent's basement, get a life, get a job, get an education, and make a better game?Oh, you expect others to cater to you and what YOU think is cool. Again, get over your self. Stupid kid.
