Beyond Good And Evil 2 'More Accessible To Casual Gamers'

No doubt that a lot of our fans were delighted to know that Beyond Good And Evil is finally getting a sequel.

Those same fans may be disappointed to hear that the aforementioned sequel is intended for more "casual" audience. "We saw with Beyond Good & Evil that so many customers were extremely happy with the game," said Ubisoft chief exec Yves Guillemot. "We had a different audience at that time. We had more core gamers than casual gamers than we have today."

"We think the game was probably a little too difficult for the general gamers at that time. We're going to make it more accessible and make sure that it's really done for the new generation that's come into videogames."

Beyond Good And Evil 2 'More Accessible To Casual Gamers'

That was probably the easiest game I've ever played besides the trial and error sneaking sections. Although the final boss fight did get a little tedious because it was so long and if you made a few mistakes you had to start it over again. But hey, I'm just glad they're finally making the sequel but that photo-realistic look they have for it is sorta creepy.
