I want Direct 8.0

I have been to affrais to download this latest version because version 7 COMPLETLY screwd my computer and i was no longer able to play games. A format of the hard disk was neccessary to fix the problem so i ain't touchin' DX8 with a someone else's 50 foot barge-pole

DirectX 8.0 is nothing new. They just say it is.

I downloaded this last week. I noticed a few improvements. Fifa 2000 improved a great deal over version 7.0a. This version of DirectX works especially well with Windows ME. Get it or regret it!!

DX8 isn't much of an improvment over 7a, DX7.0 was a huge leap from earlier DX's. Thanks for a top site. Keep up the great work you do here...DJ-MACO
