The the only game that intel grphics can run is World of Warcraft, thats why there such a huge user base there.

Epic is just sour! They abandoned its pc fanbase who made them what they are, and now are trying to find a scapegoat. The real crime is in epic turning from pc only dev, to making sucky console games, exclusive to xbox, giving head to MS! They really thought us pc gamers wouldn't notice that UE3 looked like rehashed gears models and graphics? They really thought, we wouldn't notice that the game is half the size of ut2k4 and little customization. They didn't think that the horrible console ui, with no video settings adjustments, and a crappy hack job server browser wouldn't put pc gamers off? They didn't think that releasing a hack job consolitis dumbed down fps when crysis, cod4, etqw, painkiller, time shift, orange box, just came out for the pc all at the same time was a good idea? They are 2 faced! Cliffy B has sold his soul to Microsoft end of story, and now a once good dev has turned into a trashy console spewing pos!

Fortunately, Colonization still works under XP and an Intel Graphics 950. Although he's not totally wrong, I still think that people value graphics above all else, and that results in pretty games with very little else.

What do you mean midnight? UE3 has been in the works before anything was started on GoW. All came from the Unreal universe, so wouldn't GoW be rehashed from parts that were already made from UE3?

Is mostly both fault but the problem is all about the game engine, games with hungry specs i can run in Intel with a laptop but other with same or lesser specs cant run them.

fafsaf: Who buys pc's with intel graphics? Low-cost desktops, some ultraportables, low cost laptops (these last two have longer battery lives and heat up a lot less). Get your facts straight before spitting out a lot of stuff you don't understand squat about.Of course, maybe that didn't cross your mind because it's wasted on games.

While i agree that intel integrated graphics are useless for games, i wouldn't say that Intel is to blame for the decline in PC gamers. Consoles are where it's at now. It costs so much money to develop games these days. From a financial point of view its pointless making games for pc, they will be uploaded to a torrent site and stolen by thousands (millions??) of people within weeks of going to retail. At least with consoles people have to take a risk of damaging their machines in order to play pirate games (mod chips etc.) So developers will make some money. I can't beleive people are dissing Epic, they have created a masterpiece of a gaming engine for Unreal 3 and Gears of War looks amazing. In the UK you can buy a motherboad with integrated VGA, Sound and all the usual stuff these days for about fifty pounds (Bargin!). For all intents and purposes these motherboards are fine for non gamers. You get what you pay for, Intel isn't to blame for ruining PC Gaming, everyone is (illegal downloaders, developers, cheap pc's ... take your pick).Final thought, there is loads more to do on a PC these days (YouTube, MySpace, Shopping etc) - people aren't playing games as much ??
