The Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification has refused to classify F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, effectively banning the game in the world's smallest continent.
This marks the fifth game to have been refused classification in Australia this year - following Shellshock 2: Blood Trails, and Silent Hill: Homecoming which remain effectively banned, as well as Dark Sector and Fallout 3, both of which were later edited and resubmitted for a local release.
No reason has been given for the ban yet.

No real excuse for why it's banned?from the classification board, then there's no point in banning the games, I'm really sick and tired of the "G" rated games which is flooding the australian game shops, what the hell happend to the games I want to play FFS I'm 29 and the hardcore blood thirsy games I play are more entertaining than playing stupid golf or sport games, or anything else that would make me fall asleep, so bring on the real entertainment for adult players who know what they are doing.

Actualy Germany has more uncensored games than any other country, if the goverment in aus won't listen to reason then piracy is going to be the only way to win our rights to play banned video game lol, the goverment is creating the piracy problem even more but then again that's their problem not ours LMAO!!

The reason games keep getting banned here is because WE DON'T HAVE AN R18+ RATING for video gameshence anything that doesn't meet the MA15+ classification in Australia automatically gets BANNEDthat's why it was banned fools
