Gmini400 mp3 Player Offers Gaming

Archos announced the launch of the Gmini400, a new hard-drive-based digital audio player that features the industry's first 2.2-inch color LCD screen. The revolutionary aspect of Gmini400 are the advanced features which include gaming, video playback and photo viewing. The Gmini400 is available today at major U.S. retailers or through the official Archos website, available by following the download tab above.

The Gmini400 goes that one step further by integrating a variety of multimedia options into one device which is, primarily, an mp3 player. One of the more interesting features of the Gmini400 is the ability to access and play games directly on the device. The Gmini400 comes with one free games and a selection of demos pre-installed while the owner can purchase games online (demos are available for most games) for USD 5.95 (4.99 Euros), link available by following download tab. For the time being there is a limited selection of games available which does include Colin McRae Rally 4 however, while many more are expected soon.

The lightweight, ultra slim Gmini400 measures only 4.2 inches by 2.4 inches by .07 inches, making it one of the smallest portable music players available today, and allows users to record up to 300 hours of music and play MP3, WMA and WAV music files. In addition, the Gmini400 gives consumers much more than a standard digital audio player, with the ability to store and view up to 200,000 digital photos, play Mophun games and play up to 80 hours of MPEG-4 videos -- all on the color LCD or TV display.

For further information on the Gmini400, including pricing and accessories follow the download tab above.

Wow, archos certainly dont hang around. While all the other companies are desperately trying to hype the features of future products, this one comes in silently and delivers. The other good thing is the price is not stupid. According to the website its 399 euros which works out as £270 or $480.

The iPod is just a fad. I think there's much better players like this one and the iRiver iHP players.I think you should you should give other players a chance than just buying one player (like the iPod) and saying everything else is junk.A lot of people seem to do that, especially with like videogame systems.
