Intel’s New Boss Is A Hip Hop Star

Intel's Facebook page announced today that they have a new boss: Will.i.am.

For those who are not familiar with the name, Will.i.am is one of the Black Eyed Peas band members, and he is now Intel's "director of creative innovation" under a multi-year contract.

The responsibilities of Intel's new music star boss are still unclear, but the company has hinted that he is currently creating exclusive music for them to use.

"Nearly everything I do involves processors and computers, and when I see an Intel chip I think of all the creative minds involved that help to amplify my own creativity," Will.i.am said in the official press release. "Teaming up with the scientists, researchers and computer programmers at Intel to collaborate and co-develop new ways to communicate, create, inform and entertain is going to be amazing."

He means they develop, he sits back, gets credit for their innovations and profits from it, so we now know that Intel (at least for Intel the company) is not short for intelligence.

I doubt they hired him out of their own free will. There's a lot more between heaven and earth than the eye can see.

Director of creative innovation is a fake position to begin with(big companies don't innovate, they buy out small companies that took the innovation risk). He's there as a favor owed to someone or maybe intel is trying to get into the hip hop business.
