Mass Effect Datapad Allows iPad To Interact With Mass Effect 3

During an event in New York, EA revealed that Mass Effect 3 players will be able to interact with the PC and console versions of the game using their iPads after installing an app called "Mass Effect Datapad."

There are no more details about the Datapad yet. We will make sure to keep you updated with any news that arises.

Well if that is going to be possible well then make the game work with silver membership on xbox. I know its cheep but why should I pay to play with someone that don't? That the big thing with cross consoles is one pays one don't. I am saying this assuming that the interaction with other player is beyond just chatting.

Missunderstanding?

Looks to me like they aren't mentioning interacting with other players via the app, just interacting with the game. I doubt very much that there would be any interaction with other players, even just chatting, much more likely to be viewing stats and armor, etc.
