Microsoft Pushes XBLA Size Limit To A Final 2GB

When it was first launched, Xbox Live enforced a size limit of 50 Mega bytes on all XBLA games. Over the time, Microsoft found itself making exceptions and increasing the size limit until now, when the company decided to end this chase by setting a new size limit of 2 GB.

According to Microsoft, the new limit cannot be increased anymore since it is an inherit technical limit to the system. Currently, only Red Alert 3 Commander's Challenge is the only XBLA title sized at 2 GB.

Microsoft Pushes XBLA Size Limit To A Final 2GB

It's quite impressive actually. Developers are even better at whining than making games these days. They made MS break their anti-aliasing promises and now they even hd to increase the arcade size limit to 2 GB.. Now if game developers could start showing such dedication to their fans rather than making money I'd be very happy.
