New Witcher footage is very pretty

Geralt2

A new video featuring footage from CD Projekt's upcoming sequel, The Witcher 3: Wildhunt has appeared online, showcasing some of the game's action sequences, as well as cut scenes and a little exploration - and it all looks phenomenal.

In-case you can't see the above footage for whatever reason, in it we see Geralt exploring a swampy region before happening upon a young, mute boy with a strange affliction. This is where we a get a real close up view of our protagonist and CD Projekt have done a simply stunning job on his character model. Geralt in Witcher 3 could be the best looking character in a video game ever.

The lad then leads our hero off into the swamps again, where he faces off against some simple drowners, spinning around and cutting them down with ease. He also unleashes some magic, which while looking pretty in its own right, is fantastic when you watch the water physics in action. The reflections are all excellent, but its the ripples that really draw your eye as they collide into one another and ripple off in separate directions.

I was even pretty impressed by the way Geralt goes from running, to walking in such a natural manner. The attention to detail here is huge.

The Witcher 3: Wildhunt is set to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC on February 24th next year.
