Next Metal Gear Solid Is Now Metal Gear Rising

Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid series and the vice president of Konami, revealed that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Rising has been renamed to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is being developed by Platinum Games, the Japanese developer behind the Vanquish and Bayonetta action. The game's events will take place after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots; but it will forgo the series trademark stealth gameplay in favor of a hack-and-slash action one.

Metal Gear Solid 2's Raiden will star as the lead protagonist in Revengeance.

How can it take place after mgs4?

That makes no sense

raiden was returned to his original self to raise a family with Rose and his son, well sort of normal still some metallic in him but he wasnt in a suit anymore, and if any of you knew anything about MGS, that suit is usually permanent..
