In his Worldwide Invitational presentation about StarCraft II, Blizzard Executive Vice President Rob Pardo reaffirmed that the game won't be released in 2008.

Pardo explained that they are only "about a third of the way through" the single player's campaign, and that they are currently concentrating on story structure and cinematics.

Not to disappoint StarCraft fans, Pardo was quick to promise "something very impressive to show off" by the end of the year. He also confirmed that StarCraft 2 will be released simultaneously for PC and Macintosh.

And a thousand screams could be heard around the world......Blizzard could have not bother telling us about SC2 last year. When you announce a big game like this, don´t let it go over 2 years before you release it. Well thats my opinion.
