PS2 only has 2mb of video ram. It won't even come close to GeForce. Consoles are for softcore gamerz and girlz. Hardcore gamers should look elsewhere. And what's more fun than multiplayer games with somebody you don't even know. Now that's gaming heaven.

1 good reason ps2 is not as good as pc is that i can play games @ 1280*960 running a refresh rate at 120HZ.A ps2 will only do 640*480 @75-80HZ so how the hell can anyone say ps2 is better it is clear they are dumb or cant aford a real pc so haha :)

WANTED 1 digital tv at a cost of $20.000+in Australia so i can play my crap ps2 at a higher res than 640*480 or will i buy a pc for $2000 d-hhhh i dont know.

Mr. Diablos, Consoles may be optimized, and more fun, but in the end they are still computers... And over the next couple decades what we'll proabably see is a merging of the console and the home computer-- not a winner one way or another. By the way, XBox will definetly out-muscle the PS2, but it's games will likely be dead boring in comparison with GameCube or PS2.

What PC's do you have, 'cause mine doesn't do those things. I will be getting a PS2 anyway because I can then watch dvds and play quality games with my friends in my house or theirs whereas the PC doesn't quite let you do that.
