Pop-Up Killer v1.9

Aren't you tired of all those annoying sponsors PopUp's that get displayed when you visit some WEB sites, such as GeoCities? Well... I am!

PopUp Killer is a small program which can be configured to automatically close previously selected Explorer, Netscape, Opera and NeoPlanet Windows... cool uh?

Well... this is basically the idea of the program, but since the first public version, PUK has evolved from a purely manual application, where you had to manually select the PopUps to an intelligent program that can detect potential PopUp windows and close them so fast that you will not even have the time to see them!

This version also features some advanced options, such as the ability to exchange with others your PopUps.

Pop-Up Killer v1.9

I love this program. If you use the proper settings and want to decide which pop ups you want and which to not have, it's easy to do. First, goto preferences, enable the smart engine, then the safe mode. I also have the dial all the way to the right. What this does, for any window that is not on either the black list or white list, it brings up a dialog box of 4 options, close, always block, open, always allow. Now given some sites loves to randomize their window titles and/or urls, this has an added feature that I especially like. You can go into your black/white list, find the urls that shows a pattern, then use the wildcards (? and *) to setup a pattern deal. This has taken my list down from like 10000 without the use of wildcard characters down to 200 or so with the use of wildcard characters. This way, I don't have the asking dialog box popping up on me each and every time due to random url addresses that some sites like to use.
