Project Origin Gets Its FEAR Name Back

Monolith announced today that they have reached an agreement with Vivendi to rebrand Project Origin as F.E.A.R. 2.

F.E.A.R. was developed by Monolith and published by Vivendi in 2005. The two companies parted ways later when Warner Bros acquired Monolith. According to their legal agreements, Monolith got to keep all the tech and assets they developed while Vivendi got to keep the copyrights for the name F.E.A.R.

Under the new agreement, the new sequel will be called F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

Project Origin Gets Its FEAR Name Back

You idiots, Perseus Mandate and Extraction Point aren't made by Monolith, and F.E.A.R. 2 disregarts/ignores whatever happend in them. The 2 expansions where just retarded cash-ins for who the former license holder (don'r remember/bother checking who it was).If you ask me, its a shame those 2 mediocre (with stupid storylines at it) expansions stained the franchise... especially in the n00b's eyes...Also, haven't you bothered reading news or this news fully? It's called F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, so now everyone's happy. Sheesh.
