I disagree with this article no game yet to date on pc has ever taken years to install, in fact my system can install the heaviest load of s**t you can throw at it under 10 minutes. You console whores and your BS never ceases to amaze me. I think the longest install I have witnessed on my system was 3 minutes.

now now, Kain. xbox got the RROD (even though they're working on it right now?). ps3 needs to INSTALL a game and needs almost half an hour to do so (in this case).both got some MAJOR cons in my opinion.but i'd like to know more details about this. so if anybody has answers:why is an installation required?how much discspace does it take up?why does it take THAT long?is DMC4 an exception or will future games need to be installed also?oh and for xbox people:have they riddened the RROD problems out yet?

Sadly, RROD still exsists. Few lucky people who where willing to shell out on the Elite or got lucky and got the zepher core wound have those problems. But MS is still making and selling boxes that RROD. If all 360s had HDD with them they would also opt for installed media for games.

ps3 users dont mind waiting the 20mins, but i guess xbox users might since it is roughly half the lifetime of the console

Personally I love installing games onto the HDD, like Oblivion which loaded so much faster than X360. I'm very happy to wait 21 mins to install if it makes the game load less, which it does.

Obviously none of you actually own the game on ps3. I've seen WITH MY OWN EYES that the load times are way faster with the PS3 install. I would agree its gotta be at least 3 times faster than the xbox.

I sold my ps3 many months ago. It was always slower than my friends xbox360 games and I also wasn't so happy about the choice in games. I also can take a dump, eat supper and clear up my acne in under 20 minutes so this is not acceptable.Ps3 sucks
