Rumor: Next Xbox To Include Tablet Controller And Finger-Tracking Kinect

The latest round of Xbox 720 rumors has come from Xbox World magazine.

According to the magazine, the next Xbox "will be a matt-black media hub with a mission to bring games to life in your living room with augmented reality, directional sound, and a four-player, finger-tracking Kinect."

The magazine also claimed that the yet-unannounced console will sport a tablet-like controller similar to Wii U's, albeit less "bulky." The controller contains the traditional Xbox 360 controller buttons with the addition of an HD screen at its center.

"That touchcreen will be second only to Kinect in how you operate your console," the magazine claimed. "It could be a remote control when you're watching TV, a browser when you're on the internet, extra buttons and information when you're playing a game or a portable display when you want to take your game with you."

But all those features won't make the console too expensive as "Microsoft are playing it safe with the CPU and GPU but running wild with the functions will change how you play." The magazine expects the Xbox 360 successor to sell for £399 ($525).

lulz there are many budget gamers, in fact these are the masses you're talking about, those that make the millions, not the tiny 1% rich. Go get a Wii.

ROFL

Didn't Microgofuckyourselfsoft say that the next-gen console would be cheaper than when the 360 came out? Fucking liars if you ask me.

Naw not really

I knew when Microsoft was lying through their teeth when they said their new Nex-Gen console would be cheaper than when the 360 debuted. I thought it would take them a lot longer to contradict what they said the Price Point was going to be.

what The F*uck 525$ wtf Hell Naw

What The F*ck. Five Hundred and twenty Five Dollars for a fuc*ing Console? hell no bitch. I'll just stick with my current console thanks. I see no need to buy another piece of hardware just to play games that will probably be no better than whats on current consoles. $300 has and always be my limit for paying for new consoles.
