The first version of the Tomb Raider: Legend demo was, infamously, lacking its highly publicized next-gen graphics. nVidia has now released an updated, version 1.2, demo which has all next-generation graphics options enabled.
The demo content has not changed and you still find yourself in Bolivia playing out the first level of Tomb Raider: Legend. The new features mean that if you have one of nVidia's or ATI's latest graphics cards you will be able to enjoy all the texture detail and parallax mapping your board can handle. If you haven't got one of those cards you do not need to download the newer version of the demo.

No Next-gen Version
Eidos and Crystal Dynamics have finally released a playable demo for Tomb Raider: Legend, the next adventure of the ever popular Lara Croft.
Having had more overhauls than Joan Rivers Lara returns, surprisingly fresh, in Legend and hopes to repair the damage caused to her image by the last few titles. The demo contains the Bolivia mission but the developers claim that all the next-gen visuals and effects have been left out of this demo but will be present in the full game.
