Sony asks : Does Size Matter?

Sony announced it will release a new, portable PlayStation console, called PS One, that will be compatible with mobile phones, allowing users to download games and exchange information.
In addition to offering wireless connectivity, the smaller, more streamlined version of the 32-bit PlayStation console will also feature a tiny peripheral screen, which will be sold separately and will be available next spring. Sony says the display is releasing later than the PS One unit due to the worldwide shortage of LCDs.
Super Screen: LCD to be available by spring.
PS One goes on sale in Japan on July 7, and will cost approximately 15,000 yen, or about $150. It will hit the US and Europe by September.

Sony asks : Does Size Matter?

Okay lets put it in realistic terms. The playstation is the largest and most widley used game system around. not only does the number of games around count for alot of its popularity, but so does the quality! now dealing with the small sized screen.....it is for portability.....PERIOD...... if the gameboy or nomad weighed 2 pounds and had a 10 inch monitor would it be so portable? no is the answer.. this should be sucessfull because of the games and quality!

I think this is great. I have a Gameboy and the graphics are pretty sad. Not that graphics are all that matters. They aren't really that big of a factor. Plus I've always dreamed of playing my PSX on the shitter.
